If you plan on reinstalling Edge, you should save your settings.
A pop-up window will ask you to confirm that you want to delete Edge and give you the option of saving your settings and browsing history. Scroll through the list of installed programs and apps until you see Microsoft Edge and click Uninstall. Type Add or Remove Program in the Windows search bar. You can uninstall Edge from your computer in a few easy steps. If you’re not happy with the Edge features, check out some alternatives that are free, fast, and open-source. You can also import your bookmarks, passwords, and other data, making it a seamless transition. Once the installation is complete, you’ll have the option to set Edge as your default browser. Click on the Download link for your operating system and follow the on-screen instruction. When you’re on the Microsoft page, scroll down the page, and you’ll see download links for all the compatible operating systems. A new tab will open to the Microsoft Edge download page.
